Everything Mark does is about inspiring people to build resilience and collaborate with others so that they achieve more than they thought possible. To do it, he has gathered a small full-time team of solution seekers, a panel of thought partners and a network of hundreds who are prepared to disregard the impossible with him.
Unbroken by blindness in 1998 and a paralysing fall in 2010, Mark is acknowledged by leaders in organisations worldwide as an expert in resilience, innovation and collaboration. He says, “The reason to bring in a speaker is to move the audience emotionally. It can never be about the speaker, rather it must be about engaging the audience to help them achieve more than they thought possible – that is what I aim to do every time.”
Up to this point in history, it has proven to be impossible to find a cure for paralysis. Yet history is filled with accounts of the impossible made possible through human endeavour.
That’s why Mark started asking, “Why can’t that same human endeavour cure paralysis in our lifetime?”
And he believes it can.
